So you’ve been lying around in bed with your newborn and now it’s time to transition back to “normal life,” but the life you used to know and love is no longer there waiting for you because your little one (LO) is now the center of your universe.
You know you want to get back into shape, but it’s just so hard… At least for me it was.
I was looking for an easy way to exercise while watching my baby, so this is what I did:
- I purchased a Boba Wrap Baby Carrier for $33.99 on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005SP5TX0?starsLeft=1&ref_=cm_sw_r_cso_em_apin_dp_CYQ9HD0R7W2N00D8590Z
2. I purchased an Under Desk Walking Pad Treadmill for $143.99 on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJ7QS7CR?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
3. Anytime my LO cried, I wrapped him into the Boba Wrap and started walking at a low/moderate pace on the treadmill. He would LITERALLY fall asleep in less than 5 minutes and I would either just keep walking with him or put him down in his crib and then continue walking. Some days I would walk for over an hour and a half. Other days I’d walk for 30 minutes. It all depended on how my LO felt. If you don’t want to purchase an Under Desk Walking Pad Treadmill, you can just walk around outside, but I feel like this treadmill is well worth it because you can literally turn it on and go at all hours of the day/night.
4. I also put it under my desk, so I can also work while exercising and putting the baby to sleep.
